Beware of copies, look for quality

Not all barbecues are created equal. Saigon BBQs' products are made to exacting, European quality standards, manufactured and assembled locally here in Vietnam under expatriate management using the best available materials.

A few individuals (both Vietnamese and foreigners) are copying our designs and some have even stolen images from our website. Their prices are sometimes higher than ours, sometimes lower, but their barbecues may not be covered by a genuine warranty. Beware of ridiculous warrranty claims. They may not be meaningful at all. If they ask you to transfer to a personal, private bank account then be very careful as that means that they are avoiding tax, which is both unpatriotic, and illegal. We love Vietnam and we pay our taxes. Check to see if their "company" has actually been registered and does really exist or you may end up spending months waiting for delivery of a substandard product if it ever comes at all. Be careful to buy only from our website and look for the Saigon BBQs logo, your guarantee of quality. All of our barbecues are backed by a 3 year comprehensive warranty and are covered by our 2 year buy-back guarantee.
